Pub Portraits

The brief
Admitedly, there isn’t really a brief for this one...
in my spare time, I enjoy drawing pictures of pubs.

The world of pubs and beer is traditionally seen as a bit male, pale and stale. The gatekeeping of enjoying the ‘right’ things in the ‘right’ way is rife. I wanted to subvert this expectation by creating colourful illustrations of pubs and bars, showcasing them as places for everyone.
